The “Next Style” option

For most elements in the "Styles and Formatting" toolbar, you can define the "Next Style"

The “Next Style” option in the organizer section lets you declare how text should flow. So, for example, you know that you will only have one title for a document, and the next logical style would be subtitle. So, if you were modifying the “title” style, you can set up a “next style” for “subtitle.” Then, when you type your title and hit “enter,” the following set of text will automatically be styled as a “subtitle.”
