Yesterday was the three-and-a-half-year anniversary of my getting married to Amy! Pretty exciting! (At least for me, but I always tend to get excited by these monthly anniversaries that we get to celebrate).
It’s nice to have something to look forward to every month, or at the very least every few months when we get to celebrate the quarter-year anniversaries and so on. Sometimes we even get free stuff for sharing our celebrations with others. Yesterday, for example, visiting our favorite coffee-shop-chain in Chennai, Barista, I mentioned to the manager that it was my semi-anniversary, and Amy and I got to indulge in a chocolate delight on the house! Quite a nice and appreciated gesture.
This year, I have something even bigger to look forward to—May will mark the 10-year anniversary of when Amy entered my life in the best possible way, bringing me to the point today where I can say with total confidence that I am the luckiest guy around….
Recently, I lost my wallet, which really sucked because it had the only hard-copy I had with me in India of the wedding invitations that Amy and I sent out three and a half years ago. It also had a nice little photo booklet that I had printed up with pictures of Amy and I during our many past adventures. So, I dug through some of my old computer back-up disks and found some of the soft copies of a few of the pictures. I’ll keep digging and see if I can find some more, because there should be some more somewhere!
