2657 Re-designed

Hyacinth in the cabinet
Hyacinth feels at home anywhere, even on the website…

So, I was sitting around the other day, and I decided that it was about time that I re-worked the 2657 Productions site. I had already stripped out all the html tags from the old site and had these bare pages waiting for some styles and pictures to be added to them.

I’ve been in CA for the last few days, and for the most part, I’ve just been hanging out at home at 2657, so it seemed like an appropriate time to give myself an intensive weekend project and actually go through with the site redesign. I think that this is officially the third true version of the site, but I would have to re-check before I say that’s a fact.

So, redesign, but anything new? Not really. Actually less stuff than before. I thought the list of my mp3 collection was unnecessary, so that’s gone (which reminds me, I probably have links that are now probably broken…. Hmmm….) The layout that I ended up with also wasn’t totally effective for too many images, so there are a few fewer images than before. As with my last few nerdy website related things, I went for no tables again except for the index page (which ironically is probably the page that would have been most easily done without tables to begin with). I like the idea of working with layers, and being able to style different layers, so as much as I can stay away from tables and replace table cells with div tags instead, the more flexible I think my site is and the happier I am…

Anyway, head on over to 2657 Productions and check out the changes… . I’m pretty happy with them even though I still have some work to do on the pages….
